Background Mr. Ojumah, Sylvanus Uwamaka is a Nigerian, born in Agbor, Delta State to the family of Mr and Mrs Anthony Onyedumebie Ojumah. He hails from Agbor-Obi in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State. He schooled and worked in Delta, Abuja and Lagos State respectively. He obtained a Diploma- in -Law in 2005 from the University of Abuja and his first-degree B. A. (Ed) English and Literary Studies in 2010 from Delta State University, Abraka. In 2016, he obtained M.Ed. Language Education from the prestigious University of Ibadan and currently a Ph.D. student at the renowned Ignatius Ajuru University of Education River State. He has garnered valuable knowledge at every stage of his professional life. He had worked as a business developer and conference organizer in Nigeria London Business Forum (NILOBF) Lagos State and was also a tutor at the Institute of Credit Administration in 2017. He had also worked under the Post Primary Education Board Asaba (PPEB) in 2019 as a classroom teacher in several schools and Emerald High School Lagos State as a teacher of English Language and Literature-in-English for a span of three years, teaching SSCE, IGCSE, SAT and Cambridge Checkpoint. He is a WAEC assistant examiner till date. He was a Lecturer 111 in the defunct College of Education, at the defunct School of Languages in the Department of Nigerian Languages before He joined the service of the University of Delta, Agbor. Presently, he is an Assistant Lecturer at the department of Arts and Social Science Education, (Language unit), Faculty of Education. His research and academic interest include: Language Education, Instructional methods and strategies for effective teaching and learning of English Language. He has excellent writing and verbal communication skills with an eye for details. He loves reading, writing and meeting people. His skills and activities are topnotch. He is a focused and exceptional motivated team player who enjoys hard work. He is dependable, result oriented professional and committed to excellence.
